Psychosomatic Records was created by Jim Goetsch in 1998 as an outlet for his own experimental work as well as other like minded artists. The idea was to create music without boundaries, so its records range anywhere from electronic soundscapes through experimental jazz through modern classical, sometimes all within the same album. In 2021, Psychosomatic relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
